We offer many opportunities to do mission work. During the summer, we have a mission week in which we participate in several different missions. (See below for the 2019 schedule.) We also have mission trips out of state and we're even working on a mission trip overseas! Some trips are family-friendly, so you can bring your children. You don't need to be a member to be involved in our missions. If you're interested in mission work, please come see us.

Monday, June 24^th - WMU National Headquarters

Go with us to Birmingham as we tour the Women's Missionary Union National Headquarters. You will see missions-related artifacts from around the world as well as treasures from the lives of Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong. And the kids will get a scavenger hunt! (Meet at the church at 9:45am.)

Tuesday, June 25^th - Bless Our Businesses

Join us for the great and fun tradition of taking fresh doughnuts to each and every business in Carbon Hill. (Meet at the church at 10:30am.)

Wednesday, June 26^th - Mission of Hope (AM) & Walker Rehab Center (PM)

Come with us to Dora as we prepare the Mission for their distribution day. Come see the nuts and bolts of how this amazing ministry works! (Meet at the church at 8:30am.) Then, join us as we minister to and have fellowship with the residents of Walker Rehab Center in Carbon Hill. They enjoy our visits and they love seeing new faces. (Meet at Walker Rehab at 6:00pm.)

Thursday, June 27^th – Mission of Hope

            Come with us to Dora as we assist the Mission on their distribution day to give food to over 100 families. This is an incredible opportunity to do real ministry to people in need. We will be loading buggies, serving children, pushing carts and encouraging people. (Meet at the church at 7:30am.)

Friday, June 28^th – Breakfast Blessings

            Join us as we buy breakfast around the city for the people of Carbon Hill. You will be putting a smile on people’s faces as they start their day! (Meet at the church at 7:30am.)

Saturday, June 29^th – Outreach: Carbon Hill

            We will be making visits on Saturday around the Carbon Hill area, sharing the Gospel and inviting people to worship with us on Sunday. Several pastors and church members from around the county will be assisting us. (Meet at the church at 10:00am.)

Sunday, June 30^th – Celebration Service with Testimonies

            Please join us Sunday morning to hear all about what we did during missions week. Some members will also share their testimonies with the congregation. You won’t want to miss it. It’s sure to touch your heart.
